We are located in the Johann-von-Neumann-Haus at the Adlershof Campus in Berlin, Germany.
The research group focuses on the theoretical foundations of distributed computing. We investigate what kind of computational tasks can – and what cannot – be solved efficiently and reliably in distributed systems. Our work encompasses the study of distributed graph algorithms, analysis of discrete, stochastic processes and resilient coordination algorithms.
